This is a model of the hull of the french battleship Bouvines.The Bouvines, classified as Coastal battleship 1st class, was built from 1990-1996 and served until 1918, after WW1 she was sold for scrap.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the as designed version of Bouvines, meaning that the hull is a bit shorter then what was eventually built, this is the result of a design change during construction that is not displayed in the original blueprints.

The hull was made with the use of the original Marine Nationale blueprints, the details were modeled from photos and postcards, the CAD model was made with RC use in mind, the lower part of the superstructure is included in the model.
