DESCRIPTION

This is a model of the chinese ironclad gunboat Tiong Sing, the first ever ironclad to be built by imperial China.The gunboat survived boath the fist sino-japanese and the sino-french wars. Her ultimate fate is unknown.The ship was modelled using actual blueprints.

The model is designed for 3D printing and RC use with small components, allthough you will need to set up your printer to achive maximum accuracy with your prints.The hull is intended for FDM printers, allthough you can also slice the complete hull to fit your SLA printers.The Superstructure is intended for SLA printing, it will NOT print in decent quality on FDM printers.

The finished model will be ~31cm long in 1/100, allthough it can be scaled up to 1/50 or 1/25 without many problems.The Fusion 360 file is available on request.
