Description
3D printable shipping containers in seven model scales: N 1:160, TT 1:120, HO 1:87, OO 1:76.2, S 1:64, 1:50 and O 1:48. Each scale has the five ISO sizes, 10 ft, 20 ft, 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube: 35 models, built from the real ISO dimensions so they match your wagons, trucks and dioramas in every scale.
DETAILS
Corrugated side walls, end wall and roof
Corner castings with their openings (outlines only at N scale)
Double doors at the back with the vertical locking bars, handles and hinges
Fork pockets on the 20 ft, as on real containers; flat bottom on all sizes for easy printing
No brand, owner code or logo, so you can paint and letter them your way

FILES
Each model as STL, 3MF (print settings saved inside) and STEP: 105 model files in one ZIP, plus an overview README with every size and a README for each scale with its print settings.
PRINTING
No supports needed. Make sure supports are switched OFF in your slicer before slicing (some slicers and profiles turn them on automatically). 28 of the 35 models fit a 180 mm print bed (a few placed diagonally; the 3MF is already turned); the largest S, 1:50 and O models need 220 mm (3) or 256 mm (4). Print settings, print times and resin details are listed below and in the READMEs inside the ZIP.
SINGLE SCALE PACKS (same design)
HO scale pack (1:87)
N scale pack (1:160)
OO scale pack (1:76.2)
O scale pack (1:48)
LICENSE
Commercial use allowed: you may sell the printed models.
Print as many physical copies as you like.
Do not sell, share or redistribute the digital files (STL, 3MF, STEP), changed or unchanged.

PRINT SETTINGS (FDM)
Supports: OFF, none needed (no overhang steeper than 45 degrees)
Make sure supports are switched OFF in your slicer before slicing (some slicers and profiles turn them on automatically). The 3MF already opens with supports off.
Orientation: as in the file, standing on its floor, roof up. No brim or raft needed (flat bottom).
Layer height: 0.12 mm for N, TT, HO and OO; 0.16 mm for S; 0.20 mm for 1:50 and O. 0.20 mm also works for N to S (faster, coarser look)
Nozzle 0.4 mm, first layer 0.2 mm
Walls 2-3, infill 15-20 %
Material: PLA recommended; PETG also works
Bed sizes are for square beds (e.g. 256 x 256 mm). Files marked diagonal fit only when turned on the bed: the 3MF is already turned; with the STL, rotate it in your slicer. On a rectangular bed check the fit in your slicer.
PRINT TIME AND FILAMENT (FDM, 10 ft to 45 ft high cube)
N 1:160 at 0.12 mm: about 25 min to 1 h 05 min, 2.3 to 9.8 g
TT 1:120 at 0.12 mm: about 35 min to 2 h 00 min, 4.5 to 19.5 g
HO 1:87 at 0.12 mm: about 1 h 05 min to 4 h 20 min, 10.1 to 45.6 g
OO 1:76.2 at 0.12 mm: about 1 h 25 min to 5 h 45 min, 14.4 to 63.4 g
S 1:64 at 0.16 mm: about 1 h 40 min to 7 h 00 min, 23.0 to 103.5 g
1:50 scale at 0.20 mm: about 2 h 30 min to 11 h 25 min, 42.7 to 196.9 g
O 1:48 at 0.20 mm: about 2 h 50 min to 13 h 15 min, 48.7 to 225.2 g
Approximate, on a modern printer (Prusa CORE One, PLA, 2 walls, 15 % infill); filament at the layer height shown. Older or slower printers take about 1.3 to 1.5 times longer; filament use stays about the same. Every size: README_.txt in the ZIP.
RESIN (MSLA)
Also printable: use your usual supports and tilt, and hollow the model in your slicer to save resin.
N 1:160: all five on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); about 1 h 15 min to 1 h 20 min, 5 to 25 ml
TT 1:120: all five on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); about 1 h 35 min to 1 h 40 min, 11 to 58 ml
HO 1:87: 10 ft and 20 ft on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube on 220 x 130 mm (large resin printer); about 2 h 00 min to 2 h 10 min, 29 to 150 ml
OO 1:76.2: 10 ft and 20 ft on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube on 220 x 130 mm (large resin printer); about 2 h 15 min to 2 h 25 min, 43 to 222 ml
S 1:64: 10 ft and 20 ft on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube on 220 x 130 mm (large resin printer); about 2 h 35 min to 2 h 50 min, 72 to 372 ml
1:50 scale: 10 ft and 20 ft on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube too big for common resin printers; about 3 h 10 min to 3 h 40 min, 150 to 305 ml
O 1:48: 10 ft on 128 x 81 mm (e.g. Prusa SL1S); 20 ft on 220 x 130 mm (large resin printer); 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube too big for common resin printers; about 3 h 20 min, 169 to 345 ml
Approximate, on Prusa's standard SL1S profile, 0.05 mm layers, automatic supports; resin = solid model plus supports (less when hollowed). Resin time depends on the height, so several models on one plate take about the same time.
