Rel Baron was a crime lord and smuggler who operated on Shade Moon during the time of the Uprising. A gluttonous and manipulative gangster, he maintained control through intimidation and deceit rather than skill or strength. Rel often made shady deals with mercenaries and bounty hunters, though his greed and arrogance frequently put him at odds with his allies. Despite his attempts to appear powerful, he was seen by many as cowardly and self-serving — a small-time criminal trying to play the role of a galactic kingpin.
