The Caballero's base design was perfected in the arenas of Junctionworld, but it has also gained popularity with interdimensional mercenary pilots, who often customize it with flamethrowers, different shapes of melee shields, or auxiliary turret systems on the dorsal carapace hull.

The Caballero's secondary weapons configuration can vary, but one main element remains the same: the IronHorse power lance, a force-field-enhanced close combat weapon that can puncture through tanks even if they are hiding inside of bank vaults.

Complimenting this simple, but devastatingly-effective, weapon is the power shield, a focussed energy field array that repels all but the most brutal of electromagnetic and kinetic energy attacks.

Using these two effective systems, the Caballero is able to claim multiple mech gladiator arena victories on J-World and on the battlefields of the Worldgate network, and its influence is known far and wide.

There are reports of Caballero pilots succumbing to the influence of the Dark Forces in the outer edges of the Gateworld network. This induction into the service of malevolent powers causes the pilots and their twisted crews to deface and defile their armors, making them walking testaments to their new devotion to slaughter.
