Hooded Swan aka Interstellar Queen 1:700 scale3D printable model, resin printer recommended.

This model is inspired by Angus McKie’s iconic cover art for Halcyon Drift, the first novel in Brian Stableford’s Hooded Swan series, which also appears as the Interstellar Queen, featured in the classic Terran Trade Authority book Spacecraft 2000–2100 A.D.

I’ve aimed to create a faithful 3D adaptation of McKie’s original painting, carefully translating the visible design into a printable format. For sections of the ship not shown in the artwork, I’ve drawn inspiration from the description of the vessel in Halcyon Drift, blending my own interpretations with the source material to fill in the gaps.

The model includes two versions, flight mode and landed mode. The flight mode comes with a display stand and shuttle, and the landed mode includes landing gear, detailed hangar interior and landed shuttle with open entry doors. I recommend using clear resin for the transparent parts, or just for the entire model.

I’m actively working on improvements to enhance printability and will update the files as refinements are made.As always, I welcome your feedback and suggestions for revisions or improvements. This model will be updated to reflect refinements and enhancements.
