The Junior series from Lima is an entry level, budget option for modellers and alternative to the highly sought after SAR Transkaroo Golden series.With a few upgrades however, these simple wagons can be made to look more detailed and realistic.

I have included the base model body CAD, which can be used to model any further custom upgrades without having to measure up any physical models.

Upgrades are:

1. Older style clerestory roof replacement Includes the top cross bar of the interconnecting door rubber, so this needs to be removed from original body (usually broken off already) Can be split into 2x pieces for smaller 3D printers Re-attachment via M3 bolt and nut Fits onto body snugly, still removeable if desired

2. 8581 bogie Modelled on the SAR C16 bogie (truck) Attachement compatible with limaCan transfer original wheelsets and coupling latch directly

3. Lima latch coupling 1:1 DXF lasercut template so you can have your own lima coupling latches cut!

4. Interiors Bar cart, sleeper (based on C16), dining car Cut-outs for original body mouldings Straight fit

5. Windows Replaces the window frames attached to the original round roof model Need to print with clear resin Flat to a smooth finish and clearcoat for maximum translucency

6. Undercarriage detail Brake hangers, brake cylinders, stiffner bars Cut-outs that allow for flush fitment onto lima body without cutting or modifying
