Japanese Type89 turret - Commercial license - 1-100 scale 3D print model

The Type 89 turret was adopted by the IJN as anti-aircraft gun on Yamato class battleships during ww2.

The model was created based on blueprints, photos and historical documentation. It was created with precision in detail and in real units of measurement to be a faithful reproduction of the original.

The turret can be printed as a single piece (onepiece.stl) or in single parts. It is made up of 8 pieces to be printed. Some parts need to be printed more times (the number of copies to print is indicated in the stl file name). The handrail can be printed as single piece, but I also provided a single stanchion to be printed 8 times and the handrail can be made with some copper wire. Once printed they can be finished, assembled, glued and plastered where necessary and painted.

The STL files are in 1:100 scale (in mm units).

N.B. There are some tiny parts, resin printing recommended.

N.B.2 No mechanical or functional parts are included. This is a reproduction for modelers and collectors only.

The final object sizes are: Length: 7.2cm, Height: 2.6cm.

You can use the OBJ and FBX files as reference to assemble all the printed parts.

Please note: the grey supports you can see in the images are not included in the stl files. You need to create them with your slicer software.
