DESCRIPTION

Based on the iconic Sword of Omens, as depicted in the 80s animated series created by RankinBass, the sword has been recreated based on details and proportions represented in the Thundercats animated series. The model is provided at 1/10 scale, 122mm in length, but can be scaled up to print at 1220mm, which is the lifesize scale. The sword is provided in 5 to 8 parts, making it easy to print and orient to reduce errors and allows for the use of multiple colors and materials. The Blade is provided as unified whole and optionally in 4 interlocking pieces. The pieces should slot together cleanly, but resin, apoxy, or glue will be needed to attach them, if used. Two display stands have also been provided, allowing for various display possibilities at smaller scales. The base and support stand are not optimal for a lifesize print. Assembly is easy. Simply print all parts, print either the segmented blade or the unified blade. If printing lifesize, the segmented blade should fit most printbeds. Slut blade bottom into crossbar top. Thread the EyePin through the slotted blade. Use the EyeCap to secure the EyePin and blade. Insert the base of the crossbar into the hilt. Glue or apoxy will be need to secure the crossbar to the hilt and to attach blade segments, if using segmented blade.

Parts include the following...

Blade (1 or 4 pieces)GripCrossbar with eye housingEye Cap / Pin (Eye of Thundera is used too attach blade to hilt)
