**Mad Hatter **is based on the insane tea party host depicted in the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland. This iteration of the Hatter was inspired by the 50s animated feature. This 3D translation includes details reflecting the style and charm of the classic film, while adding a few others to solidify its dimensional evolution. Hatter stands just over 120mm at default scale. The design features many small details, such as the pouring of tea from pot to cup.
Before printing the entire model,** I'd suggest trying a test print of the hands**, which include the teacup and pot. If it successfully prints at default scale, your printer can handle the entire model, since the tea cup contains the thinnest details. If your printer can not, then simply increase the model scale and test again. Print the rest of the model at scale that your printer has success. Supports will be necessary for most parts, but the model has been provided in multiple parts, allowing for a variety of print strategies.
When assembling, each part has been designed to slot into logical positions. Simply refer to the posted images. Some parts require glue or resing to permanent attach, but it can be loosely assmebled without glue.
