Dohko (童虎, Dōko), also known as the Old Master (老師, Rōshi) was next to Shion a Bronze Saint [12] of unknown constellation during the 18th century that would later be promoted to Saint of Libra [12], charge which would also hold until 1990 (20th century). Dohko was the first Saint of Gold (in the anime) to be presented at the beginning of the story even though his true rank would not be known until long after. Together with Shion de Aries, he was a survivor of such a war against the army of Hades, later he was blessed by Athena with the Misopethamenos, and he dedicated himself to guarding the Tower of the 108 Dark Stars in the Five Peaks for more than 243 years. He is the master of Shiryū, in addition to Okko (in the anime) and Genbu (in Omega), after the defeat of Saga, Dohko becomes the maximum authority of the Sanctuary and from the five peaks leads the Saints until his death in the 20th Century (1990), sacrificing with the other Golden Saints to destroy the Wailing Wall. His other two chronologically speaking appearances have been in Soul of Gold temporarily and in Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen ~ Overture ~.
