Goro is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

Goro made his debut as one of the few original characters in the first Mortal Kombat game while serving as a sub-boss to Shang Tsung. A well known Shokan, he is a powerful kombatant of the Mortal Kombat series and ranks high above the Shokan as Prince of the Shokan. He is a frequent, recurring antagonist in the series and major ally to the sorcerer Shang Tsung.

Goro returned in Mortal Kombat (2011) as an unplayable primary sub-boss, a role he shares with Kintaro. He also serves as a minor antagonist in the game's Story Mode.
