Create your own adorable capybara figures with this Capybara 3D Printing Mold. Possible for candles or gypsum cement. Designed as a two-part mold with a detailed capybara-shaped cavity, this model is ideal for makers, hobbyists, miniature creators, and 3D printing enthusiasts who want to experiment with casting and custom figure production.
The mold features a cute, rounded capybara design with recognizable ears, body, legs, and facial details. The two-part construction allows the mold to be separated after printing and can be used as a practical starting point for creating small capybara figures or decorative pieces.
The model is provided in several popular 3D formats, making it easy to modify, scale, render, or prepare for different manufacturing workflows.
Included Files:
- BLEND – Blender source file
- OBJ – General-purpose 3D format
- FBX – Compatible with many 3D applications
- GLB – Ready for modern 3D viewing and applications
- STL – Included for 3D printing
The included STL files can be used for 3D printing. However, some adjustments may be required depending on your printer, material, nozzle size, layer height, printer calibration, and slicer settings.
For the best results, you may need to adjust scaling, mold tolerances, wall thickness, support settings, and alignment/fit between the two mold halves before printing. Always test the fit with a small print first when using a different printer or material.
For a good balance between printability, detail, and practical use, I recommend printing the finished capybara at approximately:
Capybara figure size:
- Length: 10–12 cm
- Width: 5–7 cm
- Height: 4–6 cm
For the complete mold, approximately 15 × 10 × 5 cm is a practical target size, depending on your desired cavity and wall thickness.
You can scale the model larger or smaller if your printer allows it. Larger prints will generally preserve the small details better and make the mold easier to handle.
Important Note:
Digital product only — no physical product will be shipped.
This model is intended as a customizable 3D printing/mold project. Printing and casting results can vary depending on the printer, material, settings, and casting method used.
