An Apsara is a celestial musician standing upon ornamental waves and playing the vina. This piece began as a modest commission for a hotel reception area: a figurine for the entrance, rather than a temple-style representation. It is also ideal as a decorative centrepiece – on a desk, shelf, console table or side table. It is said that an Apsara does not stay for long. She is borrowed from the heavens for as long as the music plays. When the last string falls silent, she must vanish. But this one has not vanished. She remains a guest who has forgotten to leave.Supplied in separate parts: the figurine, the instrument and the stands. Designed for 3D printing in resin and display as a small sculpture at home.Cleaned of printing errors, scaled to approximately 15 cm; it is best to scale it up. The set includes sample colour files. The model is generally monochrome with a patina, so no separate texture files are provided. Please send a private message regarding additional options.
