Product Description:
This is a true-scale, accurate, highly detailed, 3D print-ready STL file of Solomon's First Temple Complex in Jerusalem. It includes the First Temple, King Solomon's Palace, and the House of the Forest of Lebanon, featuring a 3D topographical map of Mount Moriah based on the archaeological measurements of Leen Ritmeyer.
The Design Logic Behind this Model:
Topography: Built upon Leen Ritmeyer’s accurate 3D terrain measurements of Mount Moriah.
This model strictly follows the literal Biblical text and traditional commentators: The Portico (Ulam) is modeled at its full 120-cubit height, and the Sanctuary (Heichal) is 30 cubits high, complete with its traditional Upper Chamber (Aliyah) of 30 cubits high.
The Palace and the Throne Hall (The Judgment Hall) at its front are styled in authentic Iron Age Phoenician (Bit-Hilani) architecture.
The House of the Forest of Lebanon and its entrance Hall of Pillars are fully modeled to their exact explicit biblical dimensions.
This model is designed as a high-detail 'Shelf Model', perfect for display in any office, library, or home. It is ideal for history buffs, temple researchers, and 3D printing enthusiasts. Whether used as an educational tool or given as a unique gift, this model offers a tangible connection to the first Temple's glory.
Designed and optimized for FDM printing using PLA, PETG, or ABS filaments, with a standard 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.
This model is optimized to be printed at these** recommended sizes and scaling**:
Minimum Recommended Size: 210mm x 210mm x 99.2mm (for 220mm print beds). Scaling down further may cause fine details to fail.
Standard Recommended Size: 236mm x 236mm x 111.4mm (for 256mm print beds).
Note: You are responsible for scaling the model up or down in your slicer to fit your specific printer.
Print Time: Printing can take anywhere from 12 to 41 hours, depending on your specific printer and print settings.
Key Technical Features:
Manifold Mesh: Clean geometry with no internal errors, verified in X-Ray view for a flawless slicing experience.
Realistic Hollow Structures: Features hollow interiors with actual ceilings, windows, and openings for superior realism. All internal overhangs are optimized with built-in structural columns and 45° chamfers for easy, support-free printing.
Integrated Seam Management: Strategically placed hidden grooves to conceal Z-seams across the entire model. (Optimized for Ultimaker Cura). To achieve this, set Z Seam Alignment to Sharpest Corner and Seam Corner Preference to Hide Seam in your slicer. If you use a different slicer (like Bambu Studio or PrusaSlicer), apply your software's equivalent seam-hiding settings.
Structural Strength: For the thin pillars (2mm), it is highly recommended to use at least 3 Wall Loops (Perimeters). This ensures the pillars are printed solid for maximum durability.
Print Ready: This model was carefully curated and reviewed for best printing results. For your convenience, I have included screenshots of my recommended Ultimaker Cura settings. Make sure to review and apply them to your slicer for an optimal print.
The package also includes a reference image with a detailed structure legend, mapping out all chambers, gates, and areas for easy identification.
