A production-ready pendant based on the Akrep (Scorpion) motif fromtraditional Anatolian kilim weaving. In Anatolian folk iconography thescorpion is a protective sign - woven into rugs to guard against harmand venomous bite. This is the first piece in an ongoing series ofpendants drawn from the traditional Turkish kilim motif vocabulary.

Modeled in Rhino as a clean, closed, watertight solid. Ready for waxprinting and casting - no repair or remeshing needed.
