Japanese Dragon and Lotus Pendant Ryu Myth Amulet

A highly detailed Japanese dragon pendant combining the powerful image of a traditional Eastern dragon with elegant lotus flowers and ornamental cloud motifs.

The central composition features a serpentine Ryū / Tatsu dragon, dynamically coiled across the pendant. The sculpted body is covered with individually defined scales, while the expressive head features long horns, flowing whiskers, a dramatic mane, and finely modeled facial details.

The dragon is surrounded by blooming lotus flowers, creating a strong contrast between the fierce mythical creature and the calm organic forms of the floral composition. In East Asian symbolism, the dragon represents power, wisdom, protection, vitality, and control over water, while the lotus is traditionally associated with purity, spiritual growth, and renewal.

Decorative clouds and a textured background complete the composition and emphasize the traditional Asian aesthetic. Deep recessed areas combined with pronounced high-relief details make the model especially suitable for oxidized or antiqued metal finishes.

The rectangular pendant is enclosed within a clean raised frame and includes an integrated suspension system for a chain.
