Hermes Mercury Pendant Greek God Caduceus Medallion

A highly detailed Hermes pendant inspired by ancient Greek mythology, designed as a classical round medallion with a sculptural high-relief composition.

The central figure represents Hermes, the Greek messenger of the gods, depicted with his characteristic winged helmet and caduceus. The figure is modeled in a dynamic classical style with pronounced anatomy, flowing drapery, and strong sculptural depth.

Hermes was the god of travel, trade, communication, eloquence, and messengers, as well as the protector of travelers and merchants. In Roman mythology, his counterpart is Mercury, making the design recognizable through both Greek and Roman traditions.

The caduceus, with its intertwined serpents and wings, forms one of the key symbolic elements of the composition, traditionally associated with Hermes, commerce, negotiation, and communication.

A geometric Greek key / meander ornament complements the figure and reinforces the antique character of the medallion.
