About the Design

About the 3D Modeling
This model was built in a professional jewelry CAD workflow (Rhino-based, with gemstone and metal-weight tools) to produce clean, precise, production-ready geometry. The clover leaves use smooth, well-organized surfaces with crisp division lines, and the stem, prongs and bail are modeled as separate components for easy editing. The bail and pendant body are separate parts joined by a small ring, allowing free movement. The round diamond is modeled with realistic facets and is sized at 2.00 x 2.00 mm (about 0.030 ct), sitting in a seat with three balanced prongs. The included file formats are 3DM (native, fully editable), STL and OBJ for 3D printing, rendering and visualization, plus other common exchange formats on request. Dimensions are set in millimeters at real-world scale, so the file is ready to scale, resize, or customize for other stone sizes, chain types, or metals. Rendered preview images in yellow gold, rose gold, and white gold/silver are included to show the design in different finishes.
About Manufacturing
The design is prepared for modern jewelry production, including lost-wax casting, resin 3D printing, wax printing and CNC machining. Wall thicknesses, prong dimensions and the stone seat follow standard jewelry-making practice for a small pendant, and the separate bail is ready for assembly or soldering. Estimated metal weights from the CAD software are approximately: 14K white gold 0.70 g, 18K white gold 0.81 g, 10K white gold 0.61 g, 9K palladium white gold 0.70 g, .925 sterling silver 0.57 g, and 10K rose gold 0.64 g. Other alloys, including yellow gold and platinum, can be calculated from the model volume. After casting, the pendant needs only standard finishing steps: sprue removal, polishing, stone setting and quality inspection. It works well for handmade studios, small workshops, and large-scale manufacturers alike.
