Carabiner hooks are versatile, spring-loaded, loop-shaped connectors used for securely fastening, hanging, or attaching items in both heavy-duty, industrial, or climbing scenarios and casual, everyday tasks. As you know this mechanism is widely used and is also applied in the jewelry industry for fastening necklaces and bracelets. Clasps that operate with this system are known as jewelry carabiner clasps. By this way in this design, I created theSnake Figure to Function like a jewelry carabiner clasp. While it serves as a secure fastening mechanism for bracelets and necklaces, it also acts as a decorative element, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the piece.
The snake's head and body form the structural frame, designed so that the mouth securely holds and locks onto the end of the tail. the tail functions as the locking part, operating with the help of an internal spring mechanism.I also used two marquise-cut ( 2.50 * 1.30 mm) stones with proper settings and prongs to represent the snake's eyes. the stone seats are diffrentiated from the prongs, and the design is open from the bottom, allowing light to pass through for better brilliance.
The clasp dimensions are 30 * 22 * 7.5 mm. All thicknesses have been carefully designed for casting in various colors of 18k,14k,... gold. Due to the fine and delicate details, it is preferably recommended to print the model using high detail castable resin (premium grade) which is commonly used for premium jewelry production.
