Ancient Kyzikos Lion and Kore Electrum Stater Greek Coin
This highly detailed 3D model recreates the legendary Ancient Kyzikos Electrum Stater, one of the most iconic coin types produced by the prosperous Greek city of Kyzikos in Mysia during the Classical period. Carefully sculpted as a museum-quality bas-relief, the model preserves the distinctive artistic style, irregular hammered flan, and authentic appearance of ancient Greek coinage.
The obverse features the powerful forepart of a roaring lion, symbolizing strength, courage, royal authority, and divine protection. Below the lion appears a finely sculpted tunny fish, the unmistakable civic badge of Kyzikos, reflecting the city's wealth and its importance as one of the greatest trading centers of the ancient Mediterranean. The dynamic flowing mane, expressive anatomy, and deeply carved relief recreate the craftsmanship of master Greek engravers.
The reverse presents the elegant profile portrait of Kore (Persephone), goddess of spring, rebirth, and the underworld. She is shown wearing a finely detailed headdress with delicate jewelry, embodying the refined beauty and idealized realism characteristic of Classical Greek art. The Greek inscription surrounding the portrait has been faithfully reproduced while maintaining the natural irregularity of an authentic hand-struck ancient coin.
Every surface has been carefully sculpted to preserve the subtle imperfections, hammered edges, and historical character of genuine electrum staters, making the model ideal for historical reproductions as well as fine jewelry design.
Perfect for jewelry designers, museums, collectors, historical reproductions, pendants, signet rings, resin printing, CNC engraving, lost-wax casting, and numismatic projects.
