Professional Rainwater Diverter Collection - 3D Print Optimized
This package contains a high-efficiency rainwater harvesting system designed to fit standard round downspouts. The internal spiral geometry captures the water film running down the inner walls of the pipe and directs it to a standard G1 inch (1") threaded output.

- G1 Inch Output: Features a precise BSP/G1 thread (G1-11) for direct connection to standard hose adapters or valves.
- Gravity-Seal Design: Engineered with a sleeve system (upper pipe goes inside, lower pipe goes outside). No glue or silicone required for a watertight fit.
- Optimized Tolerances: Modeled with a -0.25mm diameter offset on the thread to ensure a perfect fit with 3D printed materials (PETG/ASA)
- High-Flow Internal Spiral: Specifically designed to maximize water collection without clogging the main pipe with leaves.
- Overflow: When a certain water level is reached, the lower guide overflows at its end.
- Files: Each size is available as a .obj (.mtl), .stl or .stp file for maximum flexibility and subsequent processing.
Technical Specifications:
- Wall Thickness: 3mm (middle part), 2mm (at pipe overlap) / Heavy-duty reinforcement at the connector.
- Output Thread: G1 (1 inch) BSP, inner diameter of output is 26mm (enough for removal of dirt, leaves etc).
- Fits Pipe Wall Thickness: Optimized for 1mm - 1.5mm pipe walls.
Printing Recommendations:
- Material: ASA or PETG (Highly recommended for UV resistance and outdoor durability).
- Orientation: Print vertically (Z-axis up).
- Support: Only necessary beneath G1 thread, see last picture (inside of pipe is support-free).
- Walls/Perimeters: Use at least 4-5 walls for a watertight and pressure-resistant part.
- Layer Height: 0.15mm to 0.2mm.
