Here's is a printable bowl full of lotus leaves, seeds pods, and flowers/flower buds. And to add the cherry to the top is the option to add a floating crocodile. And you can light the whole thing if you use translucent or light-colored filament.
The project file lotus-bowl-print-ready.3mf print comes with the following arranged with suggested print settings:
- 2 leaf styles
- I strongly recommend blasting the leaves with a hairdryer or heat gun and then giving the edges a little curl (or curl them up completely into dual tubes if you want to mimic emerging/unfurling leaves)
- flower and flower bud
- 2 water styles (with or without a hole for the crocodile)
- Warning: the water tends to fit tight to the bowl.
- 1 crocodile
- You can snap the crocodile into place into the crocodile water
- 10 different stem styles
- 1 mature seed pod
- 2 bowls, with or without a hole for a lamp cord (I used a puck lamp similar to those sold by Bambu Lab)
All components can be printed flat with few to no supports (with the exception of the crocodile).
You'll need to glue any flowers, leaves, and seed pods to their respective stems. You can friction-fit the stems into the holes supplied in the water models if you want to adjust the arrangement.
