A detailed sculpt of a deepsea lizardfish (Bathysaurus ferox), with detailed teeth and an open mouth so you can see all the pointy teeth inside its horrifying maw.
The blend files all have rigging for posing purposes, though there's no inverse kinematics, so it's both CGI and 3d print-ready.
If you want to use it as a game prop (too high-poly for animation), you might want to be careful about the gums because they're separate from the body because rigging and high-poly don't work in Blender.
For 3d printing, I strongly recommend that you:
- Use a printer that can do <0.12mm layer thicknesses
- Print with the jaw oriented UP: either in the orientation in the files, or use your slicing software to lop off the head and print it separately
- Use a slim tree support that DOESN'T overlap with the teeth unless you like the sort of overzealous dentistry from Little Shop of Horrors
- Use the eyeless models and print the eyes separately and glue them together if you want multicolor. You can use the brim from printing the pupils (in black)/sclera (in translucent) as handles when you glue them together and shove them into the sockets.
