DESCRIPTION

Crazy susan on steelballs with excellent rotation and antislip TPU bottom. Can be printed in whatever filament without any supports and with 6mm steelballs. Mine is printed in transparent PLA with a 0.36 layer height as I found a bigger nozzle and layer height gives the best transparency. Download the Ballholder STEP file, upload it to your favorite CAD software and simply change the draft of the two sides highlighted on the fifth picture. You want to get a fit where the steelballs does not fall out when turned upside down but they also rotate freely, so this might take some trial and error as it will be different for all printers, nozzles and filaments. The uploaded ballholder file is with a 6 degree draft to the bottom, as that was perfect for my settings. I also found it best it most aesthetic to use concentric or Archimedes curve for all layers. Then just delicately glue the ballholders into the bottom and the TPU antislide to the bottom and you have a great turntable.
