DESCRIPTION

This replica of the Titanic cherub is the result of careful study and digital sculpting. Working from original photographs and analysis of Pierre Granier’s L’Enfant à la Torche at Versailles, a sculpture believed to be the closest surviving counterpart to the Titanic cherub, as well as its replicas in various parks in Europe, this masterpiece has been brought back to life.

Every curve, fold, and detail has been carefully interpreted and refined through a process of reconstruction and artistic craftsmanship, with the goal of remaining as faithful as possible to the original design. Dare we say, this is among the finest replicas available today. This piece represents our effort to offer collectors, historians, and enthusiasts a connection to one of the most iconic features of the Titanic.

The glass lamp shade can be printed from the included 3D model. We recommend using a commercially available glass torchière lamp shade approximately 25 cm in height, paired with either a real light bulb or an electric candle for safe illumination and display.
