Print Settings

Optimized for easy and reliable FDM printing.

Orientation: Print vertically, resting flat on its circular base.

Supports: The main body prints completely support-free! Depending on your printer's part cooling capabilities, you might only need a minimal tree support under the lowest overhang of the ring handle.

Layer Height: 0.16 – 0.2 mm.

Infill: 15-20% (Gyroid recommended).

Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS.

Pro Tips from the Designer:

Cast Iron or Ceramic Effect (As seen in the photos): To achieve the same amazing rough, forged texture seen in the renders, enable the Fuzzy Skin feature in your slicer (Cura / PrusaSlicer) for the outer walls only. Using textured filaments like Marble, Galaxy, Matte, or metallic PLAs will also yield stunning results!

Center of Gravity: To make the candle holder feel heavier, more stable, and premium, increase the number of Bottom Solid Layers to 10-15 in your slicer settings. This concentrates the weight at the base.

Important Safety Warning:

Please remember that standard 3D printing filaments (like PLA or PETG) can warp under high temperatures and are flammable.

The safest option is to pair this holder with beautiful LED (battery-operated) taper candles.

If you choose to use real burning wax candles, you MUST insert a protective metal sleeve or foil insert inside the cup to prevent the flame from ever touching the plastic. Never leave a burning candle unattended!
