The bottom is threaded to screw directly onto the standard 3/8" - 16 UNC threads...however if you want stronger use a threaded insert, link below.I try to minimize support material, so this is split into a front and rear. Assemble them with construction adhesive and 6-32 flat head screws.

Finally, you can optionally hand paint, as I did mine.
