Strange New Communicator 3D print model

Description

Federation Comm unit from Season 1 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Comes with space inside for lighting and electronics. Placeholder screen can be replaced by an LCD or plastic sheet. Placeholder hinge pin should be replaced by a metal pin 2mm diam approx. Includes a cradle for the iPod Nano 7th Gen.

Uses 8 round magnets @ 6mm diam x 2mm.

112mm long x 61mm approx.

Image files are to size if printed on A4.

Free Display Stand now included. Also comes with free iPod nano screen animation file (See Video)

Another fantastic model from limeybuilds. I bought the previous version, which was great, but I'm very happy and excited with the new design updates. It looks fantastic and the internal magnet mechanism and iPod inclusion take this to a new level. I have some metal parts on the way to make it even more lovely. THANKS!

Can not subdivide..(made in solid works) N gons. Not sure why no one uses quads? (I am an old school CG designer) Easy to add subdivisions if needed.. If I was going to 3d resin print this (very detailed) I would want to increase the poly count. Will use for a reference and over lay basic quad shapes or retopo to quads..
