Almost every culture in history used bow and arrows in the past and even today many people use arrows for sports, recreation or hunting. One of the cultures that took the bow and arrow very seriously are the Japanese. Because the bow was one of the favorite weapons of the samurai, much development has gone in the design of the Japanese arrow heads and they are used for hunting, war and for many religious ceremonies.

These models are based directly on real Japanese arrow heads that have been preserved from the Edo period.
