DESCRIPTION

This is an accurate model of the original reed valve mounted on Piaggio 50cc 2t scooter engines (Scarabeo, Zip etc). The 125cc and 180cc versions (Gilera Runner etc) should mount this valve too. The original part was disassembled, every piece was measured and thoroughly reported in the Inventor modeling you can find attached. As you can see, the assembly is complete of everything: valve body, reeds, stoppers, threaded plates and screws. I made this to have a good reference to use as a starting point for a better intake system for Piaggio blocks, which I'm going to make in the next months. You can find online another extreme reed valve I made for Minarelli 50cc scooter engines, the VLX.This is my first model here in CGtrader, and I tried to include various file formats, images and textures. If you have any concern or need other formats, however, tell me: I'll do my best to help. This model can be 3D printed with quite good results, especially the valve body, even though its purpose is only to be a realistic and accurate reference.I definitely hope you enjoy my work, especially two stroke and engine passionates like me, who like research and development and could find this work useful!
