1/8
A typical Cold war era Universal towing arm seen on many RAF Bases during the Cold war. This set comes with parts to make 3 different lengths of arm & has 2 types of leg, with one being slightly thicker & having larger wheels.
Separate arts are provided to print & assemble yourself, as well as the 3 types as assembled models.
The models are all produced in 1/1 real world scale in metric. For most slicer software, Metres will be read as MM & will need to be scaled accordingly.
The shortest type is overall 4.47m long in real world measurements.
Scale Settings:Useful settings: For 1/72th, Scale = 1388.888%. For 1/48th, Scale = 2083.333% . For 1/32th, Scale = 3125.000%.For 1/24th, Scale = 4166.666%
How to calculate this percentage for the slicer without knowing the model dimensions. First we know that the model unit is 1m, and has been interpreted by the slicer as 1mm. 1m = 1000mm, so to get the right scale, divide 1000 by your scale. EG 1000 divided by 48 = 20.83333. Now multiply the result by 100 because we need a percentage. The final result is 2083.333 as shown above. All other scales use the same formula.
