A Mk2 Ejection Seat suitable for Post war jets such as the Gloster Meteor Mk9. Suitable for larger scale projects. Versions with or without Seat harness & parachute straps are included, and one without head armour plate. Versions with no foot rest are also provided.

This model is designed for 1/32 scale, however, it is printable at 1/48th scale, but the footrests and pull handle will be very fragile. Careful support removal will be necessary.A separate STL file with thicker parts suitable for smaller scale prints is also provided. Print at the highest resolution you are able, with as few supports as you can manage, and use only low anti-aliasing settings to preserve finer parts as much as possible.

How to calculate the correct scale for you:-Divide 1 / scale IE 1/48 which = 0.0208333, then multiply that number by 100,000 which gives you a scale percentage of 2083.333%Similarly 1/32 will be 0.03125000, which multiplied by 100,000 gives you a scale percentage of 3125.000%

NOTE: The model units are 1 unit = 1m. If your slicer uses 1 unit = 1mm, then it will initially be very small when you load it. Simply select the model & enter the correct scale:and it will then be correct. Note that plastic kit cockpits are often smaller than real life, due to the contstraints imposed by manufacturing, so you may need to adjust the scale accordingly. I have tested this model in the 1/48th Airfix Meteor kit, and with the foot restraints removed, is a good fit.
