Converted to obj for use in Bryce but n matter what texture is applied it always is dark black so not of much use.

This is a very nicely detailed 3D print of the V-150 Planetary Based Ion Canon from "The Empire Strikes Back". My only criticism is the flat bottom of the ball and the angle of the gun, which is about 30 degrees. To achieve the correct angle of about 60 degrees you need to prop up the front edge of the model thereby exposing the flat bottom to view. I may print a second copy (hollow of course) and cut off the rear section of the ball and graft it onto the flat surface on the first print .

A very detailed model of the Ion Cannon, especially when compared with others available online. I was able to print it, a few corrections might be good- the doors that are open around the cannon are attached to the rest of the model in a very small spot, so making them mostly part of the main body would be good. There were also some “non manifold model” errors in Cura but it seems to print fine in those areas anyway.
