Power Rangers Zeo is an American superhero drama serving as an adaptation of the 19th Super Sentai series Choriki Sentai Ohranger, and is the fourth installment of the Power Rangers franchise. Set directly following the finale of Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers which saw the destruction of the Rangers' Command Center, the Rangers scramble to recover by discovering the Zeo Crystal, which grants them new powers needed to fight the impending Machine Empire.

Prior to the series premiere, 32 non-canonical Zeo Serial shorts were each shown in place of the Today on Power Rangers segments during the last run of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3 and Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers.
