The Panoko (Torrentfish) is a fish native to the fast flowing shallow river waters of New Zealand, home of the Jet boat.
This hull was based on the bigger river jet boats commonly found in the USA. It has great stability but also becomes agile when required with the appropriate application of steering and power.This model is made up of over fifty individual parts excluding the M-jet 35 drive unit. When Completed the boat 672mm long, 245mm wide and 245mm tall.
This boat is designed exclusively to be powered by the M-Jet 35 drive unit. There is now an untested rear hull section for the M-Jet 30 included. The files for this unit need to be purchased separately or if you already own the M-Jet 35 file no further file purchases are needed.The M-Jet files are available here on cgtrader,
Once downloaded you get all the files and instructions needed to complete the hull of the boat. Purchase of small parts ie. bolts, brass inserts, glues ect is requiredAll printed parts fit within a 220wx220dx240h mm print bed.
Rough filament requirement quantaties are as follows.
- 3 main hull sections 850g
- 4 main cabin pieces 130g
- 3 cabin roof sections 100g
- deck rails, cabin ladders and cabin locking nuts 50g
- window trims and templates 85g
- deck treads 50g
- swim deck and treads 55g
- lid bases 65g
- lids (TPU) 100g
- battery trays and internal mounts 125g

Update 17/5/2026. A rear section of the hull running the M-jet 30 has been added. This is a beta part and has not been tested or printed by myself.
Update 22/5/2026. Front hull section minor revision to allow for better cabin fitment. If you have the first version of the files this can be fixed by filing/sander a radius the front corners of the hull to cabin interface as now pictured
