Ballast or Chip Bins for model railways, based on technical drawings within pictures included.

Ballast or Chip bins are normally spaced every mile or so next to the railway.Ideal for any layout to add a bit of extra detail alongside the track.The design also includes a version for embankments, see the technical drawing picture.

This ballast/chip bin has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76 scale.for HO gauge print at 87%, 1/87 scale,for O gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale,for O gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale,for N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale. (Caution: I have not test printed this in this scale).

Recommend printing OO or below on a 3D resin printer to get the best print definition, for larger scales resin or filament 3D printers can be used.

I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
