Been looking at doing this design for a while but took a while to get the enthusiasm due to the design due to its complexity. On a visit to Salisbury station in the past I spotted this design and thought it would be perfect to do a 3D model of for model railways. Girder supports like this are often found above main roads or rivers on the railways. For a while, I have had a version that was ideal for resin printing but have now created this version for FDM printers (Due to the detail I recommend printing with a 0.2mm nozzle)

The bridge support at Salisbury station was about 14.5m long which I have used for this design, but in OO scale it is about 190mm long.

This is a complex design and took many hours to design due to the awkward design and shape, this design took months and months of thought on how best to draw it and turn it into a model. The price of this design reflects the time taken to design this item.

This has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale.For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale,For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale,For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale,For N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).

The examples in the pictures were printed on a Bambu Labs A1 FDM printer.This has been designed to be printed in two parts that can be glued together, recommend printing with a 0.2mm nozzle with a layer height of 0.06mm. As normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
