DESCRIPTION

This is a mini tabletop airbrush «Spray Booth»Basically an air scrubber that filters out the air when airbrushing small details with an airbrush. It’s based on a simple square box design. Airbrush Filter in front, with standard size computer fans at the back. It’s a straight forward simple assembly, that you can watch in the YouTube video. This model will also function as a dust collector, for when you sand you’re FDM, or resin prints. Assembly and usage shown in the YouTube video.Enjoy.

Contains STL files ready to print.

  • Main container body.
  • Container stand.
  • Front grid cover.
  • Back grid cover.

Sliced in Orca.6mm Nozzle. 3 wall count, and 4mm brim. Only the main container body will need supports.Everything else is left with the default settings in Orca slicerPrinted on a Elegoo Neptune 4 MAX.

In addition to printing out this model, you will need the following:

  • 2 Brushless 120mm x 240mm computer fans, with a power supply.
  • A roll of standard airbrush filter. Or bye them in pre made squares.
  • 8 M4 35mm Screws, with bolts.

Spray Booth v2.0 For large printers. Biggest piece will be 331 mm x 216 mm.(Snap fit, no glue needed)

UPDATE! «Split Model»The biggest piece will be 216 mm x 165,5 mm.And hopefully more suitable for most common printers. You will need to print 2 of each Key . (The key for container stand, and for the back & front cover.)

The split model will need to be glued together.I’ve also added a «split & lockkey, to make sure it remains as solid as possible. For assembly, I suggest gluing together the container stand with «Lock key» first. Then glue the main container body, and slide it into the frame with som glue.(Makes it easier to line up everything.)Next, attach the fans with the M4 screws. And lastly. Glue the back and front covers together, and glue theKey" to the splitt of both. Here is a YouTube Short with putting together the split version: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bXQRauCgPHY

Apologies for the wait. In all future uploads, we will always make sure to have 2 versions. One for large printers, and one for more common sized printers;)

Over all a pretty good design however the back should be enclosed with a pipe for exhaust! Not have enclosed fails to get most out of the fans, this could also be used for sanding of models. I have to design a enclosed back making the back in fusion 360

I had trouble printing some parts (the split-section version), but it was most likely my fault. I previously made the large version of the propsnstuff paint booth, and it worked out well. I hope the positive streak continues ;)

I had to split it into parts because my build plate was too small. No big deal there. Everything fits together nicely, prints easily, and works as expected. The entire assembly is pretty light so my plan is to mount it on a swing arm so I can move it out of the way when not it use. The design is simple and works well. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars.
