DESCRIPTION

Hey everyone! I'm a big Marvel fan and as usual being a prop maker I thought about how cool it would be to make Loki's crown/headpiece from his upcoming show and use it for display or if you want to even use it for cosplay.

If you are like me and you enjoy making your own prop replicas then look no further.

Split into 3 different parts as shown in the 4th picture. Scaled to fit most people, but you can scale it to your preference. Ready to 3D Print (Measurements displayed on 5th picture). Fits most 3D printers.

High accuracy, based from pictures of the show.

Fairly good model. It did require some work to be printable cleanly with PrusaSlicer as the slicer. That software did not like the recesses on the horns for mounting and the piece at the peak of the crow was slightly separated from the rest of the model's body. I ended up modifying the crown in 3d modeling software to join the horns to the crown to eliminate the moderate gap between the horns and the body. I also thickened the symbol at the peak of the piece to better join it into the body of the crown and make it easier to print. Additionally for my face, I'm having to do moderate modifications to the model. I needed to scale it up 5% to account for face width, tilt the mandibles downwards more and bring them in. Otherwise they were pointing fairly straight out at the top of my mouth.
