I think 1 layer could be the best solution, a larger number would be only heavy without advantages.
I have used this same method for mine with excellent results, I recommend it to everyone!

I can't print ABS right now because I don't have a case. I want to print it with PLA + and encase it with glass fiber mat and epoxy glue. Will that work? Do you know roughly how many shifts I should make? I had to make the body in 4 parts so that I could produce it with my Ender 3 ...
Or do you have a better or less time-consuming method of making the hull resistant and stable?
