DESCRIPTION

This is a replacement case for the Diesel Fadelite , tested on the model DZT2018. The original frame on this watch usually breaks around the button, making the watch unusable. This case is a total redesign and replacement, avoiding the weak design elements.

It's recommended to print the top on a resin printer or a well calibrated FDM printer as the tolerances, specially around the button are around 0.5mm. The bottom part is recommended to print in a FDM printer. Once you have the top and the bottom printed, test for fit on your watch and after you are sure everything fits and the button clicks, glue the two parts along the seams. Any glue that adheres to plastic works, i recommend t-8000 or similar for the best performance.

The case has the same holes as the original, so all the sensors and functions should work, the back of the watch should sit comfortably in the wrist, so the HR and sensors in the back should also work ok. Some of the frame could contact the skin, so be sure to use a plastic or resin formulation that doesn't react with the skin, or put some skin-friendly coating in the bottom part of the case.

The case is designed to fit the original watch strap or any standard strap of the same size. If you have any feedback, you can write a comment. I cannot guarantee any more changes in the model tho.
