Transport Hub Taxi Rank With EDB Design. Another work related project. Clinet asked us to design a system with EDB (ElectronicSecurity Display Boards) for their Taxi Busses. Basicallya Taxi Rank much like a bus stop. So here the taxis enter and from the main EDB Board can see weactly where they are supposed to park and await customers as per their location on the board. Under each parking bay is another smaller EDB showing time of arrival and departure information for that specific taxi bus. CCTV Cameras, access control as well as barriers booms were also added to the design of this whole project. Ticketing was another feature where commutors can buy their respectgive tickets directly at the site as well. Also no drawings was used abnd I relied on, onsite measurements taken as well as google earth images to guide me. Drawings is 100% drawn to scale.
