An extremely rare vehicle – and even rarer are its parts. This is an interior component that was never intended to be sold separately from the car. The only way to get one is from a second-hand donor — usually from a damaged or scrapped vehicle.

Our client provided us with a good sample so we could scan it. Before long, we had a highly detailed and precise 3D CAD model. I 3D scanned the original part using a high-precision laser scanner — accurate down to the smallest detail. We selected the most suitable material, fine-tuned the printer settings, and by the next day, the new part was ready. The result? I printed it, tested it, and it fit perfectly. After some sanding and painting, you wouldn’t be able to tell which one is the original.
