3D model descriptionDesigned by HIDAKA.Practical, engineering-driven 3D printable designs from Japan.
Fit larger bottles and cups into the factory dashboard drink holder.
PROBLEM
The factory dashboard drink holder found in the Citroën Berlingo, Peugeot Rifter and Fiat Doblo is too small for many modern beverage containers.
Large PET bottles, coffee bottles and paper cups are often unstable or simply do not fit.
That everyday inconvenience inspired this redesign.
The goal was not to create an aftermarket-looking accessory, but to solve the problem while maintaining a clean, factory-like appearance that naturally blends into the vehicle interior.
SOLUTION
The HIDAKA Front Extended Drink Holder expands the usable size of the original dashboard drink holder while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance.
Rather than adding another drink holder somewhere in the vehicle, the design improves the usability of the existing factory location.
It has been developed from scratch and continuously refined through actual vehicle use.
It was not designed only as a 3D model.
It was designed to be used.
