The Neo Classic Jimny Project

I created this model with the intention of blending modern engineering with vintage soul. Starting with the iconic boxy silhouette of the famous Japanese kei car, I decided to completely reimagine the front fascia. My goal was to strip away the modern plastic feel and replace it with a rugged, steel-bumper aesthetic reminiscent of the 1970s classics.

I spent hours refining the grille and the round headlights to capture that nostalgic spirit while keeping the body proportions accurate to the actual vehicle. The roof rack and the heavy-duty tires were added to the design to tell a story of a compact car that refuses to be just a city commuter.

This model represents a dream build, a customized version that pays tribute to the heritage of the Jimny while standing out as a unique piece of automotive art. It is optimized for 3D printing to ensure that the distinct retro lines print cleanly, making it a perfect addition for collectors of JDM culture or offroad enthusiasts.
