Based on Darkwing Duck's signature Gas and Grappler gun, the DWD Gas Gun is a detailed replica, with a few differences, adding a bit more visual detail and simplifying assembly. The replica has been designed to capture the look and feel of the 90s Darkwing Duck animated series. It has been broken into 12 easy to assemble parts, which slot and snap into place. Most do not require glue, but things like the grip, barrel, and mouth will need glue to affect a more permanent attachment.

The sight has been designed so that one can print the lenses separately, allowing one to create or use transparent lenses. The sight is also holo, allowing for the insertion of hardware to turn it into a light source or laser sight, if one has the parts and inclination to try. Alternatively, if you can find or make a mount for an existing light or laser sight, feel free to do so. This product was inspired by and meant for fun and/or display. I may add a display stand to this at some point.

Assembly Instructioins

1. Insert wide end of gunShaft into back of narrow end of gun Mouth (fits alignment tabs; notch in shaft down)

2. Insert the notched end of the gunShaft into the front end of gunBody without hinge.

3. Insert gunGrip into slot at bottom of gunBody.

4. Insert gunTrigger into gunGrip front.

5. Insert sightSupport into top of gunBody, with protruding support facing forward.

6. Carefully snap ammCap into hinge on the back of the gunBody and close.

7. Slot the sightLensFront into the sightCapFront

8. Slot the sightLensRear (concave lens) into the sightCapRear (smaller cap)

9. Thread sightCapFront inner pegs over the front of the sightBody.

   • Twist to lock into place. Arrow should be on top once locked, aligning with the arrow on the sightBody top.

10. Thread sightCapRear inner pegs over the back of the sightBody. - Twist to lock into place. Arrow should be on top once locked, aligning with the arrow on the sightBody top.

11. Snap the assembled sight into the clasp atop the sightSupport, aligning the narrow center of the sight with the clasp.
