Jon Talbain, originally called Gallon in Japan, first appeared in Capcom's video game Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, originally called Vampire: The Night Warriors in Japan. He has appeared in almost every Darkstalkers series video game with the exception of Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire, from which he was omitted along with Rikuo and Sasquatch. He is notable in the video game Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire (Darkstalkers 3) for having to face a unique character named Dark Talbain, a sinister version of himself.
