This is my first mechanized mask (version 2.6). It was inspired by Wolf Predator bio mask design and by the Predator character itself. The mechanism doesn’t contain electronic components. A human jaw sets the mask lower jaw in motion then the movement distributes further to drive the other elements. Watch the video tutorial to see how it works.

All the parts are ready to print, split and placed on a bed the most optimal way.

It’s intended to be printed out of PETG (otherwise the mechanism might not work because of different mechanical properties of other materials).

You need at least 170x145x115mm build volume to print the model.

To assemble the mask you’ll also need:M4 screws with countersunk head, 16 mm in length, 4 pieces;M4 nuts with nylon ring, 4 pieces;neodymium magnets, 10x1.5mm, 26 pieces (or 10 pcs of 10x3mm and 2 pcs of 10x5mm, in this case use files from “For_3&5mm_magnets” folder)nylon cord, 0.5-0.8mm in diameter, 3 meters;nylon strap 2cm in width, 1m;self-adhesive EVA foam, 4mm thick, at least 2x10cm piece (such foam is used for handmade cards, shapes and letters, if you can’t get 4 mm thick sheet try to find 2 mm thick foam and use 2 layers of it bonded by hot glue);fishing line 0,3-0,4mm in diameter, 0.5m;Velcro strip, 2cm wide, 0.2m;black elastic fabric (the most simple solution is a couple of socks), 8x6cm piece.

To be sure the mask will fit your head, first measure your head width (above ears), then in accordance with this value use following scale percent for 3D printing (choose the nearest bigger value):13.5cm - 90%14cm - 93.34%14.5cm - 96.67%15cm - 100%15.5cm - 103.34%16cm - 106.67%
