In the past I have created some boxes for different types of modelling paints to fit neatly and were designed to be stacked on top of each other. I also did a empty storage box in the same blueprint as the paint holders but different heights, this design comes with different size compartments and comes as 25mm and 50mm high compartments and is ideal for small items you wish to store together. This set of designs is ideal for model parts, tools, materials, etc, etc. The generic design comes in four main versions V1, V2, V3 and V4.

The internal dimesion is 150mm x 150mm and the external dimension is 160mm x 160mm.

The origonal idea was to create a universal tray for each type of paint that can be stored on top of each other. The size of the tray has been designed to be 160mm x 160mm and will therefore fit on most FDM printers. The lid has also been designed to be printed inverted so the build plate pattern will be on top of the lid enhancing to look.The chequered effect on the base and the top of the lid also helps with reducing the chance of warping when printing.

The example in the pictures was printed on a Bambu Labs A1 FDM Printer (0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm layer height).This design is best printed on an FDM printer (filament).

I am creating holders for manufacturers like Humbrol, RailMatch, Revel, Phoenix, etc I will add links below. Please drop me a message if I have missed anything that you would like me to add. All the holders from all the manufacturers will be designed to be stacked together in the same 160mm x 160mm box but with varying heights. All designs are tested before sharing online.
